A Walking Cane Pick Up Tool
This device allows one to pick up a dropped walking cane without bending down. The device weighs only one ounce and is a perfect, easy to use help for the elderly or disabled.
Most all walking canes are not made of steel. A steel clip is attached to the cane so the chained magnet can easily lift the cane up.
The tool consists of a ball chain with a 25-pound pull magnet on one end. The steel attachment is permanently attached around the cane shaft.
When the cane falls, pull the chained magnet from your pocket or purse, put the magnet over the metal piece, and pull the cane up. This also works great for eyeglasses, keys and other dropped items.
